This 8-hour course focuses on the application of the Freedom of Information Act in Illinois.
The goals of this course are as follows:
  • Provide a complete analysis of the application of the FOIA Law in Illinois.
  • Provide the Agencies with an in-depth analysis of the Illinois Body Camera Provisions concerning FOIA.
  • Allow Illinois Law Enforcement Agencies and FOIA Officers to analyze Binding PAC Opinions and recent Case Law involving FOIA.
  • Provide an opportunity to discuss the best ways to react to FOIA requests when they are received.
