Students MUST BRING the following equipment to class: Department-Issued Camera w/ Macro Lens, Instructional Manual for the camera, Tripod, Electronic Flash, Sync Cord, Cable Release, Memory Card, Flashlight, any Latent Print Equipment currently used by their department for processing.
This course offers a comprehensive overview of hands-on techniques for the development, enhancement, processing and collection of latent prints. Participants will experiment on many different types of substrates using their department-issued fingerprinting equipment.
Lecture time in this program will be minimized so that time spent on practical exercises can be maximized, thus allowing students to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience that can be immediately applied. The workshop will show personnel how to get the most use out their department-issued equipment while processing latent print impression evidence on a large assortment of surfaces.
