This course offers a comprehensive overview of hands-on techniques for the development, enhancement, processing and collection of latent prints. Participants will experiment on many different types of substrates using their department-issued fingerprinting equipment.

Lecture time in this program will be minimized so that time spent on practical exercises can be maximized, thus allowing students to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience that can be immediately applied. The workshop will show personnel how to get the most use out their department-issued equipment while processing latent print impression evidence on a large assortment of surfaces.
