To attend this course, you MUST have already attended the
8 HOUR BASIC PATROL RIFLE COURSE!
Equipment needed: Department approved rifle, 250 rounds, 2 magazines, duty side arm, magazine pouch, belt & holster, 50 rounds and eye/ear protection.
Optional equipment: Sandbags, binoculars, spotting scope and shooting mats.
This course will cover speed and tactical reloading, malfunction drills, and rapid engagement of single and multiple opponents. Firing positions: primary positions, secondary positions, and special positions. Proper utilization of cover and concealment will be stressed throughout the course, as will movement techniques.
