An SFST proficiency test will be administered at the beginning of class and the participants must pass in order to continue with the training.
This course will include training in the detection of impaired drivers by substances other than alcohol. It will involve training in field tests and eye tests involving the convergence, pupil size and reaction to light as well as methods of determining ingestion of the substance and classification of drugs for illegal and legal by the type of impairment.
