This training will be in accordance with the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) standards on CPR. ILCOR is an international organization of which the American Heart Association (AHA) is part of. The AHA sets their standards through ILCOR. The training will help the participants in recognizing medical emergencies including cardiac arrest and foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO). As well as the steps needed to efficiently and safely provide treatment that may help sustain life until more advanced medical intervention arrives on scene. Upon successful completion, students will receive a two-year certification card.
