*In order to attend this course, Investigators must have already completed prior on-line ILETSB board-certified training in Sexual Assault Trauma-Informed Response.*
This course will provide initial responding officers with the necessary training to properly investigate sexual assault and sexual abuse incidents with the components for victim centered investigations. Emphasis will be focused on proper response, law, trauma, evidence collection and report writing, to include victim referrals for trauma-related services. Case based scenarios will be used to provide the framework for the application of this procedure.
