Field Training Officer/Instructor Refresher course is designed for incumbent members of the Agency’s Field Training Cadre. Workshop activities and objectives have been designed for experienced FTO’s and will highlight strategies to effectively coach today’s trainee. Trainees will gain critical leadership, interpersonal and coaching skills that are needed to work in today’s stressful one-on-one field training environment. Throughout the day the trainer will be exposed to coaching and documentation strategies that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal-skills.
