This 5-day, 40-hour program has been designed by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board to provide students with the required training in use of police personnel within the school setting in accordance with SB 2925 (PA 100-984).
This course consists of the three primary components addressed in the curriculum: Juvenile Law, Officer and Youth Interactions, and School Threat Response. Students will participate in guided discussions/lectures, interactive activities and performance based exercises
