This practical “how to” course will examine problematic aspects of successfully investigating and preparing a DUI case, as well as testifying at implied consent hearings and a trial. This course is intended for both experienced DUI investigators and officers just beginning to engage in DUI enforcement. The course starts by reviewing the fundamentals of DUI law, but progressively sophisticates treatment of the subject matter over the course of the presentation until the most problematic issues are treated. The course works through common and not so common problems and their solutions. A valuable course for both the experienced and newer officer alike.
