This is an Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board-Certified Course designed by SILEC staff with input from law enforcement leaders from our region.

This is a practical Supervision/Leadership course that will provide both new and veteran supervisors with skills and knowledge that will help them become successful supervisors.

This course was designed to provide students with everyday practical supervision information.  A majority of this course will be taught and facilitated by Mrs. Jan Mirikitani with the assistance of a variety of local Law Enforcement Leaders/Supervisors from the SILEC Region.  Day one will be facilitated by Dr. Lewis Bender (Retired) SIUE and will include each student taking the DISC inventory, which is a personal leadership profile.

We feel this assessment will provide valuable feedback to each student regarding their strengths and weaknesses.
