Though American law enforcement agencies have made significant advances in management training and leadership development programming, we still see consistent failures by many supervisors, managers and executives in their attempt to positively influence the organizational culture.  This course examines why these failures occur and offers some suggestions on how to minimize common gaps between what we know is good leadership and what is actually occurring in our agencies.  These themes will be examined as they relate to key issues such as training, accountability, and communication.

This training will benefit all levels of supervision and is open to police, corrections, probation, emergency dispatch and other public safety professionals.  Both new and experienced supervisors are encouraged to attend.
