A Police Officer and/or a Correctional Officer have the task to transport a prisoner or prisoners into and outside of your facility. Professionalism, awareness, and a confident mindset are required to prevent an escape during the transport preventing you, other officers and the community at risk, from injury, and even death. Officers are directly responsible to deliver detainees / prisoners to and from their destination.
 
This curriculum will provide policy and procedures to effectively transport prisoners in a secure, safe, and professional manner.  Emphasis will be given to officer safety.
 
Bring duty belts, belly chains, leg irons, handcuffs, & black box set up (if you have one). – No weapons.
